This bug wondered into our home about 2 months ago. We thought at first it may have hitched a ride from Yellowstone, but I want to identify it.
CLOSED: Bug that starts green and turns brown
This appears to be a western conifer seed bug, Leptoglossus occidentalis (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Coreidae). They often come indoors for winter shelter. See http://tinyurl.com/ybmonu3
Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll be posting here in the future I think when I start taking pictures of my many many spiders that live around my home, :)
