Sorry once again...have spent the majority of the last several days on the phone to ND where once again my DM is in the hospital with heart issues. This time is was her stent plugged up. They got it cleaned out and hopefully will help her feel better. She might be 90 years old but she has been a remarkable poster child for longevity. These problems have only started showing up and I know that she hates to think of slowing down like she is now facing. She has even mentioned moving to an assisted living facility where before she was happy with her independence. She cant drive now and I think that is the worst for her. I DID get her some senior rides coupons so all she has to do it call for rides but they want it to be 24 hours in advance she it will mean she will have to start planning ahead instead of jumping in the car for a quick trip to here or there. Every time the phone rings anymore, I cringe, wondering if it will be bad news. Hard to be this far from home at a time like this.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas in case I dont get back here before then. Stay warm and stay safe..we will be staying home, best and safest place to be. Plus our weather is going to take another turn for the worse tomorrow and keep heading downward the rest of the week. DGD was going to leave for Austin tomorrow but decided to go today to try and miss all that weather.
