Another spider that makes an entry hole in its web

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

I find these webs in our office campus' wilder areas. I disturbed the underneath of one 'home' and there came out through the hole the resident. What name board would he put up in front of his house?

Although the spiders most commonly associated with this type of web are in he family Agelenidae (grass/funnel web spiders), this one looks more like a wolf spider (family Lycosidae). The Asian genus Hippasa constructs a very similar web - see http://tinyurl.com/ydh228n for an example.
