I forgot about your big JM. How did the hosta do without the shade? What about a redbud to replace the JM since you have a lot of those.
What's on your wish list for next spring?
The hosta, small jm's, hydrangea and hellebore all made it okay. I believe the mild summer, with lots of rain, helped.

good mornin everyone
good morning ge :)
hi
robin let me know if you find molly - i was looking for her last year and could not find one. i have mary although very small.
this year i will get some more dwarf jm's and dwarf conifers - and spend time moving around some of the plants put in the ground last year, also expand some garden beds.
Fairweather has it, Bill.
thx - will have to add it to my list
Was wondering, I know there are programs for plotting and planning a garden using one's own property layout. Does anyone know of a free(or very inexpensive ) online program for garden planning? Property manager wants me to come up with a plan--I know he won't spring for $$$, but I get a good rate here....he's the type of person that seeks advice, then does his own thing in spite of it, but this could be fun....hee-hee
Google garden plans?
Well...not recently, I guess. I'll give it a try.

gasp! I'M your property manager, Phoebesviolets! *grin*
LOL--I might have been doing just a little projecting there! :-O
A cooperative husband who will sacrifice more of his beloved lawn so I can have a rose garden . . . wish me luck - he doesn't know how many roses I have already ordered ^_^
Use a Sharpie to write on your hand, as a constant reminder:
He lives for my happiness.
The more you order the happier he will be.
Wish I had done that 40 years ago.I came close to having DH #2
Nice psychology Pirl! ;)
ah men
LOL!
Prayer?
Many wives sort of pray for men when they're thinking, "God help him...".
Or 'God help me'??
LOL Pirl
I was planning to get "Molly" from Fairweather, Bill. Anyone choose their clems yet? I'm thinking light pink & white ones for this year.
