Wow, just ran outside to throw some scraps to my chickens. Its a whopping 16 degrees!! I have been cleaning and Kevin is putting away all of the trees and ornaments and decorations, what a job! Hauling it all back downstairs is the real trick!! but, the sun is out thank goodness! I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Freezing in Orlando. It may snow.
Keep snug Pat--sorry you have to share the nasty weather ^_^ 4° here and snowing with -16° wind chill. My water has been frozen for 5 days and just barely keeping the GH warm. It is difficult when the temps do the "below average" thing. I am ready for spring-- or even just a normal winter at this point I am not picky.
Well, at least I don't feel lonely here in the freezing weather~, its not as much as a shock for us here as it is for you southerner's! Keep yourselves warm!!

p.s. . . it is freakishly COLD outside! It is 33 right now, with wind chill it is 26. Supposed to get down to 14 sometime tonite, and with the wind chill . . . I know I don't have as much cold to complain about than others, but this is Texas, for heavens sake!

I hear you Nichole...LOL.My son from San Antonio hasn't called to "rub it in" to his poor freezin' Mom and Dad for a couple of days.
He probably can't feel his fingers after peeling off his gloves. (It took about 20 minutes of hands wrapped around coffee for them to thaw out!)
It is so cold here. No snow that I have seen though. I wish I hadn't cleaned out my closet and gotten rid of sweaters, etc. Next year I am going to have long underwear and wool socks on standby. All I have is cotton socks and that just does not work in weather under 30 degrees. I admit I am a wimp:)

Go figure....It was supposed to be -19 last night and later they said -23.What actually happened was +2 overnight and it's up to +11 now.Whatever happened,thank God!!
here too-- it was supposed to be 0° and was only 4° yay-- maybe the freezer has been turned down a notch!!
We are getting a little better on temps here, its above 20!! woo hoo the low here today is 16. Rest of week looks slike upper 30's and 40's. What a relief!
