Continued from here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1052974/ Finally some new photos. Here's Santy Paws.
Hve you been good boys and girls?
OMGoodness too cute and funny!
ROFL, Hart, these are too cute! Bandit definitely qualifies for Best Dressed Pet in the MA forum :)
What a character :-) I think he actually enjoys those outfits!
LOL, What a great start to my day. How silly and cute is he. Hart I bet you had a ball dressing him up and watching the reaction. LOL
I'm having so much fun dressing him up but he really does need to wear a sweater or jacket a lot of the time. He gets so cold in his bare fur.
I wish I could have gotten one good shot of him wearing the hat without it sliding off his head. It is sooooo funny. Bandit, however, was not nearly as amused by it as I was, as you can see by the photo above. LOL
He wore his Santa suit to go see Mom yesterday. Everyone there got a huge kick out of the little Santa Claus.
How funny and cute!! Thanks!
Diane, I sometimes put a sweater on Penny, she is the skinny one and her fur is thinner then chubby Mary's fur.
I have a Steller's tee shirt that has been passed down from 2 previous pets wish I could find another one as it is not so bulky and is nice for inside wear.
Is Steller's a brand name? I see the doggie t-shirts all the time at Petco, Walmart and Ross.
Sorry hart, I should have said Pittsburgh Steelers, and my spelling was off. This tee is a little heaver material, sort of a fleece on the inside. it hugs the body better too.
See the orange shirt Bandit has on above? Walmart has those for $7. The current ones are red and white for Christmas. They're fleece, fit snugly and are really easy to get on and off. They have a hood too. You just slip the neck over their head and then secure the bottom with a velcro tab.
This is Steelers but looks more like a t-shirt than a fleece, sweatshirt type shirt.

Thanks for the link Diane. $$ is going to be a bit tight the next few months, so the girls will just have to wear their old clothes. They were told Doggie treats or new clothes? Guess what they picked?
Hmmmm, let's see, that's a tough one. Doggy treats? LOL
LOL, Hart I would say that Bandit has thoroughly gotten over his camera shyness!! He's practising for the spring doggie runway show.
My gosh, you should have seen how many shots I have of a blur where Bandit is supposed to be. LOL Plus the lighting in the living room is awful so I took some with flash and some without.
Bandit is so fast, some of mine just show a black and white streak. LOL That photo looks so warm. :>)
I am trying to get some Pennyroyal to grow in that spot. I planted the roots at the other edge where the girls do not run and it is slowly creeping across. Pennyroyal is suppose to repel fleas and I love the minty smell.
lady, That's interesting. I'd never heard of Pennyroyal before. Is it hardy for you?
Stormy, It is hardy and roots easly where a stem touches the soil. It will even root in my pond if it grows into the water.
Here is a link to plantfiles. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/297/
Thanks, Chris. I did look it up when you posted it. When something falls under the Herb category, it then hardly ever says whether it is annual or perennial. It said zone 5, but I've learned to look for more than one indication of hardiness, as I've relied on PF before, and found errors on the zone ratings.
You're right about plant files. The hardiness zones aren't reliable at all. But pennyroyal is very tough and I'm sure you could grow it with no problem at all. It's a mint so that should tell you how hard it is to kill. A lot of people plant it near their doorway because it's supposed to repel flies too.
Thanks, Hart. Most of my herbal knowlege is limited to culinary herbs and a few for medicinal uses.
Diane, I found a doggie site, prices seem to be good, I got 2 rolled leather doggie collars, some Zen treats for Penny, suppose to have a calming effect, and some "moo tubes".
They have a spot on the site where you can look at only USA treats which is important to me.
dog. com if you want to take a peek.
Upco.com has good prices too, really good on some toys which I've found to be about half what they are at other sites.
I'll check out dog.com. Thanks so much. Awww, did you see the baby Boston on their front page? They do have some good prices.
Bandit was a little terror last night. I'm crocheting a teensy baby sweater set for a miniature baby doll. That rascal got hold of it twice last night and unraveled several rows. The second time he got his heiney swatted instead of just a scolding.
aww the poow wittwe baby! how could you? LOL! (I would too)
Having to do those eensy little stitches not once, not twice but three times - darn tootin' he got his heiney swatted. LOL
LOL, boy can I relate! Just finished an afghan I knit for my son's Christmas gift and even though Lucy didn't unravel any stitches, she certainly enjoyed getting snarled in the long strands of yarn while I was knitting! So....when you get done with the "teensy baby sweater" are you planning to knit a sweater for Bandit? Probably not! LOL
I don't knit, only crochet. Actually, after I finish the doll clothes I have quite a list. I need to crochet a beanie for one of the ladies where Mom is living, a sweater for my sister's dog in dayglo orange (she swears it's his favorite color LOL) and then one for Bandit and then I have some yarn to make a sweater for myself that's been on my list of crochet next projects for a while.
Bandit was trying his best to chase my thread while I was crocheting too. He kept getting it in his mouth and trying to run with it. I think dog drool adds such a nice touch to a finished project. LOL
