26 here this morning, I am sooo tired of the cold and cloudy weather!!!
Freeze is coming....what night...don't know yet!
Brrr... Last night was the coldest night so far for us here. 24 degrees. We were in a warm pocket and only got down to about 29 degrees last week for a short spell so begonias, geraniums, and oxalis plants close the house were still not mush. Now they are. And all the rose buds are probably goners too. :-(
The weatherman was predicting 31 for the low and since it was still 50 degrees at 7pm last night I believed him. I did not cover my cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and lettuce. The lettuce is probably a goner. I also only covered my meyer lemon tree instead of dragging it inside so I hope it is okay.
My Weatherbug says it's currently 26º. At least the sun is shining. I was getting tired of the gray and clouds.
Need to check on the lettuce to see if it survived.
27° predicted for tonight. I was too lazy to take the plants out that I had in the shed last time, so at least they will be okay..
