ALFALFA PELLETS

Wauseon, OH(Zone 5a)

I would like someone to explain to me if the Alfalfa Pellets for fertilizing are the same Alfalfa Pellets you feed horses ?

If not where can one find these pellets?

Since there is no where one can post on here for fertilizers I don't know where else to go with this question.

You can just do a google search on "Alfalfa pellet's fertilization for plant's" and find some topic's on such. From what I have read it would be the same Alfalfa pellet's that are fed to equine. I have not used the pellet's on my plant's so I can not vouch for any result's. You can alway's check a local feed store in your area for the pellet's or even the meal form.

Here in Roswell, there is ladies in the iris club that swear by this. They just go to the feed store and buy them. We have a seed place that sell this but at a higher cost because the list it as a fertilizer. Susan

They are the same and can be found at feed stores. I just use them for my plants (mainly roses)

gee, interesting reading, those links. I'm going to try it on my brugs. I've had them this is going on their fourth year,,,,they just grow tall, lots of leaves, no blooms. We'll see what happens this year. ::)

Both things are yeses....some people add them and count them as green things..and they would work great in lasagna beds the worms love them.
