So what do you want this winter?

Port Orchard, WA(Zone 8a)

Heidi, it's good to hear from you, I did take my Musa bajoo, and Musa sikkamensis in to the garage, I pack them in wood chips, then take them out in late april, but I don't know how long I can keep doing that. they're about 8 feet tall now. not all of them just the ones I've had the longest. I didn't get all the Fuchsias mulched, so I might have lost some of them. the Dicksonia are in the greenhouse, I keep it above 40%f, good luck with your Hosta minis, I'll have to take a peek in the spring when I come up, and all the other new plant material. Pixy I know the meds thing. I don't think they are quite working hard enough I have yet to buy 1 present. My folks love gardening so they get plants. I told Dave to go and buy a new pair of boots. He had melt down and didn't even make into the middle of the mall and left. We both need a wife. My basement is full of the big red bananas and I am loaning some plants to plantswoman design who is designing a cool booth for the flower and garden show. A natural pool. Sounds cool so some of my plants are warm at her house. Another landscaper is selling those cool stone lights at the show so I hope people say Hi to him. I guess if things don't make it this will make more room for the way too cool things I have ordered for next season. Is this the brightest pine tree in the world it glows this is pinus contorta chief Joesph. love it.

Heidi, do you have a waiting list for Chief Joseph? I have to have one, Jim

Kingston, WA

Hi there I have already sold the 3 I have. They were 300 a piece. I have some smaller ones coming in this spring. These are just a cool little green pine tree until winter then bam. I kept this one and am going to pull out a bunch of stuff by the chain and plant it there I think. I need more gardens. There is 1 guy in Oregon who found this tree elk hunting and he only releases a few a year and I have been waiting. They are slow growing but so well worth it. I can let you know when they come in. I might go to the hardware store to go shopping. Oh joy.

Jim I see you have been to the hypertufa and cement page with the thrown. Pixy if you are reading we need one of these. This is way too cool. Jim I think you need to make me a big one with a dragonfly. I love it. Heidi

Well isn't that the coolest! Last year I had plans for some chairs made with the leaves. There just are not enough hours in the day to get all that stuff done. I was calling them Pixy Thrones. If I had a larger heated area where I could work in the winter, I'd get more done.

If I had a larger heated area where I could work in the winter, I'd get more done. I also have a large chunk of concrete out front that I had planned to do a bench out of, with a back using some kind of organic shape. So many plans, so little time.

Love it. I thought of you pixy with your fairy chairs. I like how it is so smooth. I would love to make one as well. Just like my long list of things I would like to do. I'm just starting my taxes now which sucks and takes a while since I do it all by hand and it sits in a box till now. It used to be 4 separate sets now just 2 but still time consuming. I dreamed I made one. Maybe this will motivate me to hustle with the taxes.

Heidi, it looks challenging, they'res a lot of detail, Jim

I know but you are good. Let me know how the big sphere go. We might need to trade a tree for a sphere or something. Heidi
