Man I would love an 8x8 foot canopy over my potting bench, it gets soaked in the winter and can be a tough place to work in the rain.
I have a hori-hori on my Christmas list with a picture of what one is.
I would love a house with more sunny windows and room for a green house and vege garden, the ditch drives me nuts as it dominates the landscape.
So what do you want this winter?
I wish for a greenhouse.
*dreamy sigh*
Oooh, those are pretty. I like the red flowered one.
I have a spot I could fit a decent sized greenhouse, but we'll never be able to afford one. (no skills to build our own, sadly)
NIce Schlumbergias, Willow! You probably will want a heater to hold 45-50F during the winter, or there will be slime.
And as to that salmon one where did you get it, was it a named hybrid?
Not to mention I want a new job.
I will check Freddie's but so far only HD has been showing orange plants.
I want to go home and relax for the holidays. But now I have to work and right up to Christmas. Oh well off to work today.
As I am, and I am sure it will be for the rest of the holidays as well.
Where are you working now, Steve?
Pony, I have been keeping my ears open for a small GH for you. I might have a line on one, it needs some repairs, but I have not seen it. Joey looked at it from a distance. Really really good price (maybe FREE)
Eep! Really? Thank you for thinking of me! :)
Absolutely!!! I am waiting for Joey to talk to his coworker again about it. He has been off work cuz he got sick too.
Oh no... I hope he gets well soon! And how about you? How are you feeling now?
Lynn I am working in Bellevue now but with Christmas family things I can't get south to Buckley. I have added a family in Sumner and they are keeping my time here busy. Merry Christmas to you and Joey.
I want a cloning machine like Lynn's.
I would love a job either with a bunch of funny peaceful folks who like plants, and would let me have a decent insurance policy and about 40k a year. And let me read DG all day at work to get to be Uber around here.
I want a 10 yard dump truck full of Tagro and 5 bags of alfalfa pellets.
AnalogDog, Hori Hori's are nice, I found an divers knife at a sale and it works even better, the Hori's that I've seen don't look all that sturdy, I think they're making the new ones a lot cheaper, Jim
My dream is to have one of those big dog washing tubs in the laundry room in my basement. It would just replace my laundry sink.
Cute pic, Steve.
Judi, a walk-in shower, if you have one, works well for dogs, too.
That is one happy dog, Steve. Is that a beagle?
We have a hand held shower in one bath room in our house for the dogs. Works great, no need for a tub, and both dogs have learned to enjoy it, especially when its adjusted to dog temperature, which is cooler than my shower temp.
Rob, Steve's a Jack Russell Terrier man. I'll bet it takes a long day to tire out a JRT . . .
I don't have a walk-in shower - I have an old claw foot tub that I love and it has a hand held shower attachment, but it is difficult to lift my dog into the tub. Sofer, Koka and I fell in love with each other the minute we met. She's not really THAT big, sort of medium large and 45 pounds.
Well then, my beagles are going to have fun! Get a small stair step for each side of the clawfoot, and the dog can climb in an out on its own.

McKenzie (my Jack Russell) is a quiet, sleeps a lot, JRT. The "true" JRT (short legs) are very playfull and joyous dogs, but nothing like the Parson Russell (long legged) who are out of control. I have to get my dogs from a Canadian, or English line because the American's have bred the JRT into a nightmare.
Mine are so slow about climbing into the tub that I usually lift them to take the torture out of it. But they ARE quick about jumping out once I give them the go-ahead. LOL It would be nice to have an extra walk-in shower in the laundry room or garage - for me after I've been gardening AND to wash the dogs.
Steve, I keep hearing you talk about these mellow JRTs. Of course, I'm used to sight hounds, so any Terrier may tire me out with his industriousness. I love those McKenzie pictures - can hardly wait to meet her. She looks darling.
That is indeed a cute puppy.
AW, he's cute too.
You clearly keep them tired out. :-) Kip is very handsome.
What content looking puppies!
I would love a mild winter that would allow me to catch up on neglected yard work.
Most of the rhodys around here are looking pretty bad. Their leaves are all shriveled up and droopy. They look like that all over Portland. I hope they can recover, but tonight is supposed to be even colder than last night. Mine is way too big to cover so my wish for this winter is for the plants to survive!
We went to -20 last night and no snow. Lots of plant death going on right now. WHERE IS OUR SNOW? October 4th 5F for 3 days and the leaves and perenials were green. Then sudden death and now -20 with no snow. I guess I get to buy lots of plants next year.
