really busy, went to Lowes, they don't have anything but a bunch of cut Christmas trees, plus I had the people that I donate too come pick up, & I got rid of a lot of clutter, got the Ham & Turkey, the lemons for the pies, I have too make 4

I like to plant a lot of my seeds directly in the ground, I have never winter sown, doesn't it take a lot of plastic milk jugs?

yeah, you do it in jugs and other containers, and Charleen...you sow your container, and leave them sit out all winter.

And they will come up. What do you plant? Lupines? Stuff that needs a cold spring, like colubine?

you can plant anytime after it gets cold, Charleen, and they will sprout when it starts warming up in the spring. You keep the tops on them, until it gets warmer out , then you can start opening them up in the day, and close them back if its cool at night.You can do columbine that way, but I always just diect sow them, as soon as they go to seed

Yeah, I think they are cute, most of them are sprouting a true leaf now. I think I have 18 or 19 germinated..Will probably pot up the 12 strongest

you haven't recieved them yet? I should get paid Thanksgiving day, but I know I will have to wait till Friday, so I can send Gordon his money for the clippings, also to mail out a box Monday, hey do you put up your Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, I am going to put mine up Saturday

No, I don't put mine up that early. It will probably be a couple weeks, before I get mine up.My daughters all put theirs up the weekend after Thanksgiving.
