Well, I have a heck of a time keeping the aphids and mealy bugs down but hold my own... but today... this is what I find... can someone tell me what these pests are on my hibiscus?

The image isn't too clear, but these look more like aphids than anything else to me. Have you been applying insecticidal soap?

Could the little white specks be white flies? we have had quite a battle with them this year. I agree the darker critters are aphids. The other thought was that the white specks could be a mite of some sort.

Aphids are such useless destructive little bugs....thank goodness they are so easy to get rid of. Glad to be of help to you. Have a lovely Thanksgiving....Moon
