burn_2007 - nice pics. All my goldfinches are gone. Haven't seen one for a spell. The profile of that robin in flight reminded me of the profiles of some of the fighter planes of WWII.

Methodical - I don't think I've ever seen a G-t Grackle before, nice snaps.

flowerjen - That first bird is Pretty! And those that kept running away from you, I think they're called ghennies, guennies, something like that. Maybe someone knows what I'm trying to say.

Beautiful photos everyone.
Met, your grackle is gorgeous, especially that last one. Great lighting!!
Flowerjen, great photos. That first one is so pretty.
Hack, cute birds! Great job on the egret.
Flowerjen, wow, it looks like some kind of pheasant to me too. It's a beauty!

This Bald Eagle sat down for a rest.

It wasn't long before the crows were diving at him.

Unfortunately he didn't stay long enough for me to get the teleconverter on the camera.

I am so excited when the sun finally shines on the Toyon trees around the house. This Cedar Waxwing sure was enjoying the berries.

These Waxwings completely ignored me and were gobbling up the berries as fast as they could.
