Hi, found this spider in my bath. I live in Southern England UK.

This spider is in the family Theridiidae (com-footed/cobweb spiders); it is a Steatoda sp., possibly Steatoda nobilis - see http://tinyurl.com/ya7cqz2 for an image. Spiders in this genus sometimes are called 'false widow spiders' because of their resemblance to Latrodectus spp. and their similar habits. Although not dangerous, some of these are capable of delivering a very painful bite, as I can personally attest.
