I obtained some MG seeds from 1996 for a var called 'Jackie Ehman'. Does anybody have any info on this?

I’m going to guess the name doesn’t refer to seed variety, but instead is the name of the person whose plants produced the seeds, or is the name of the original recipient. A Google search turns up the name of a craftsperson by this name who may have included them as a thank you present for one of her customers.

Good detective work MusaRojo!!! I would guess that you are correct in your suggestion about the mystery packet of seeds. And probably the only way to know what the seeds are, is to see if they will germinate and grow. :-) Good luck, DMgardener!
