Great to hear from you Sherrie!
Please do not look at this tread!
Nice to see you here again, Sherrie! I had the same experience as Victor with the veggie garden, and so many weeds in other gardens. I just couldn't keep up with all the weeding. My only consolation was that the daylilies, which are the stars of my gardens anyhow, were great this year, and I didn't get cleaned out by deer like last year. Sounds like things are looking up for you, so that's a good sign.

Dave's gardeners oft pick on posts
without a thought of dread.
They fear no ghosts, their ego boasts
no scruples in their head.
But fools jump in (as wisdom goes)
where angels fear to tread.
So I vow anew to hence eschew
from clicking on this thread.
glad to hear you are healing Sherrie!!.. we missed you!!
An aptly chosen ditty for this "tread". Nice!
Very good, Don!
Great one, Don.
Glad you're back.
Bravo, Don!
Karen
I only clicked through because I saw it was from you, Victor. I said to myself, "what's he up to now?" :D
I did not click on this thread until the curiosity killed the cat. The numbers of post kept climbing so I knew there were indeed a bunch of people looking!! LOL
Hi Sherrie! Nice to see you back and great job on those dishes!
Hee hee! Gotcha!!
Just saw this 'tread and of course I HAD to look. It was from Victor after all.
Tread carefully!
Of course, I always check Victor's threads, its the only thing I know how to follow, lol
Ha ha - then you're in trouble, Maria!
Victor, I think you are in trouble with some of my responds to posts of yours , ha ha ha
I peeked. But hey, there's no consequences! In fact, I'd say I was rewarded.
Ha! I thought it was going to be about stairs so I thought I would clime on up with everyone else.
Glad fortune has turned a bit of a corner for you Sheerie. Nice to hear from you again.
Love the poem Don.
Victor there is just no excuse for your behavior. So no need to stop, not that you ever would. :)
Hee hee.
ok - You win my twister sister.
Started back in March as Jims job was layed off. Hes still laid off. Try living on 187 bucks a week! I know you cant do that. So lucky me did have a successfull season with the GH and sold the most I did in 3 years. Well it took 3 years not to murder much stuff.
This chicken was a pecking and a scratching thats for sure. Wasnt going hungry, but there sure wasnt any extra money. I do ebay on the side and could not sell a log of wood to someone who needed it. Economy just wasnt there and I shut the store down on ebay. I concentrated on the veggie and flower garden. There wasnt a weed to be found. One day I came out and my eye felt funny, must of been an omen.
Cluck Cluck - I am begining to no like you sister....... It dont end there. A guy backed up into me at the bank and got the headlight, hood and fender. I dont carry collosion just liability. The guy had insurance, he gave me his tel # and name. I called to get going on getting the insurance company involved or have him pay for the damage. The person said he had not lived there for months. arghhhh ummmmmm kept after his insurance company for 3 months! They could not get hold of him - I kept calling and calling. Nothing. Finally I went to the PD and there was nothing they could do as they did not go to the scene. Then time ran out with the insurance company. So back to the PD I went and was going to start a Civil Suit. Told his insurance company and they sent out a private dectitive and found him. He admitted to the accident and I got paid. 4 months after the accident - GOOD GRIEF!
So now it is September and things are going one day at a time. Jim finally starts a side job. Now my eye is acting funny again. I wake up in the morning and its slammed shut! OH MY GOSH - I must have pink eye. Nope it keeps slamming shut and shut and shut. I broke down and went to the eye doctor. 30 minutes and 75 bucks later I learned that when I was in the garden something scratched my eye. It cant be fixed and it will never heal. Its trying to heal and that is why the eye gets stuck togather at night. The only thing I can do is put these drops in and keep it lubed.
Then the bedroom TV died. I need the bedroom TV, credit card comes out and now I have a flat screen! :-) but last week the washing machine quit filling up with water. I have not done any laundry and its building up. The machine is being looked at to see if its worth fixing. Its only 4 years old for goodness sakes.
So in the end of the 8 months things are starting to go a tad better. Jim is getting ready to go back to work at the mill. They are looking towards the middle of December. After all the downs, downs and downs, I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnell.
That is the end of the story. See you later sister.
