Happy Halloween everybody!
woof!
With a coat that color, your pup could almost be a ghost....sweet fur-face, Lynnie.
he put the golden in golden retriever ;)
oh Lynnie, he looks adorable! if we were closer, he and Mac, our GR, could have a play date to romp and chase sticks:)
babee how you been? where's a pic of your golden?
Lynnie, what's his name?
as soon as my darn kid comes back from her trip to Dallas I'll post one. She took my camera with her:)
Tanner...and I hate to say this but he died a while ago (I don't want to perpetrate a lie) but I love this pic. He was a very good boy. But I do know another golden who loves playdates.
oh he's cute!
That's his "I've been eating dirt, let's play" picture.
He's a good boy.
what kind of dog is he?
Jack Russell Terrier
I'm jealous you guys get good dogs and I get the chupacabra! LOL
is Sam like the dog on Frasier? :)
Trina you could make a whole other show with your dog, like Cujo-cabra hahaha
The dog on Frasier is a Jack, but there are 2 different kinds. The original kind that Parson Russell bred had a shorter nose and longer legs. That is what Sam is.
The other kind, like the Frasier dog and Wishbone, were developed after, with a longer snout and shorter legs. And apparently never the two shall meet.
Sorry, our internet connection went out for a while, couldn't get on line.
Trina, Chupy is a cute little thing. They are very loyal and very alpha. She's constantly testing you, but she's a kid yet.
Look at those paws. They're made for digging in the fox hole. And their bark is really loud, so the hunters could hear them in the fox hole when they found the fox. And they can run very fast & turn very fast, better for chasing foxes.

She's a cutie, Trina. Still a skinny little thing. Pretty markings.
Sam can stop on a dime, I think he has invisible Keds on. He does what we call "crazy dog" and he goes all over the place; around, under, over, through... over & over. I've wondered how he never crashes into something, but he never has.
Sam does what the Brits refer to as going Cracker-dog.....grin (all creatures great and small)
LOL, I'll have to tell Bill that!
I once used my dog to dig up an old evergreen shrub....he did it in just a few minutes. No, he never dug up shrubs after that.
Way to go Lynnie....cheap easy labor and the dog had fun.....grin
yeah he was smart for a golden hahaha
golden retrievers are usually quite smart, German shepards are too smart for there own good!
he was smart enough to play dumb.....one time we had steamed artichokes for dinner and the dog got into the trash after we left the house, he loved buttery napkins...so we came home and he's laying under the kitchen table covered with artichoke leaves and acting like he had done nothing wrong..there was bits of trash all over the floor, and artichoke leaves all over him...whenever he was caught red-handed he acted ashamed, but if he thought we wouldn't know, forget it!
the picture of this in my head is just hysterical!
