Wow - I will get my envy out tomorrow!!
I'll send and envie out tomorrow too trina.
Me three trina if you have enough to go around...
How many stamps do yo think you'll need to send the bubble envie back?
probably 3...i ended up with close to 7000 marigold seeds. I will put at least one packet of each seed in the envelope until I run out...If you want more than that just stick a note in your envy
if you have veggie seeds I will consider trading
Trina, I'd like some of those seeds too. I'll get a SABE out in the mail tomorrow. Mary
ok keep em coming I know I can do at least 75 without any concerns of running out of anything!
What kind of veggie seeds are you looking for?
any..especially funky colored ones, but right now any
Don't know what I might have that's funky colored - lol (forgot to order any Bright Lights chard this year!), but I have several different Heirloom veggie seeds. Some commercial, most saved from my own garden. Why don't you shoot me a d-mail and give me some ideas and we'll see if we can work out a trade? I'll check in a little later when I get home from work. Living in the city = long drives to/from work - lol.
Kelly
LOL you guys crack me up!
I'd like some too please.
Margaret
my address is in the address exchange, however if you cannot access it just dmail me for the address
yes Trina, my envey is in the mail. I know you are the only one that I trade with, but you have the best offers. Thanks so much alda
I'd like some please. Sending SABE with stamps.
Thanks,
Darla
Trina, I am sending you a box of bulbs, seeds and 2 SAE's for some of your assorted seeds. Thanks Postage is enclosed. alda
Trina,
Hi! Yes Crazy Sauce lady here. Just checked out the thread because I recognized your name. I'm not looking for any of your seeds as we are really more into edible landscaping and our zone has been foundly refered to as "the gates of Hell" by those that have been through these parts...lol...anyway I digress from my posts purpose.
I read that you had and interest in veggy seeds. I don't have many now because I'm in the middle of several swaps or (because we garden year round here) mine are in the ground. BUT I have two I think you might like and would gladly send more after I test my new arrivals for germination and make sure they are what people have them labeled to be as accidents do happen in swaps. What I have that I think you might like is a WONDERFUL sweet mesculun mix. I know for some reason you don't hear much about growing lettuces but, they are SO easy and tastey and these are such a wonderful veriety of colors - from vibrant greens/yellows to deep, deep purple/maroons. Both delicious and beautiful in a bowl. They love the cool weather so Your climate would be perfect. They love to companion plant in just about anything from roses to tomatoes to herbs to well...anything. I also have an Amish Heirloom Lettuce (Deer Tongue). Not a special Color But an odd shape. Well...like a deer tongue...Kind of long that comes to a triangular point. It's Sweet and crisp. I think you would like it too. I got the original Seeds from the Heirloom seed Project at the Landes Valley Museum outside of Lancaster PA. Plus...if you like herbs at all...I have lemon and lime basils. If you are a pesto Girl though, I have a few genovese seeds left...just some thoughts...see what you get for stirring up the sauce..lol...anyway...any or all is offered...no envy or trade. The seeds are so light it would cost you more to send the envy then for me to just send them so we'll just work it out another time or just pass on the chain of love to someone else who might need it...let me know!
Hugs,
Jamie
OMG I would die for a good mesculin mix, and I use to eat the deer tongue with my grandad, I was raised an Army bratt and spent from my 12th birthday to 17th living in europe so bring on all the basils! I have made pesto with the genovese, the lemon, and sweet basils and love them all! so I would gladly take ANY seeds you want to toss my way ms.jamie!
Okay, It will not be tonight hun. Probably get them packed up tomorrow and to the PO Thursday. I have Parkinson's and though I do Really, Really well have and occational bad day and today is one. Doesn't make for good seed packing...they can be slippery little suckers with a good shake...lol...(you should see me eat rice- not pretty!)it can actually be great sport to chase them around...lol...but, lettuce seeds and basil are just too small...anyway the shake usally only hangs around for a day or two (I am VERY blessed) then I'll send them on Thursday...if there's a hold up I'll give you a yell hun.
Oh ya...you're in the address exchange? If not, Please dmail it to me.
Hugs,
Jamie
I would love your seeds , hope they do good down here, sending you SASBE
I would love some seeds too Ill get my envelope out to you .. Thanks Trish
Trish-
Up date - Still waiting for the lemon basil - it's still being a touch slow in giving up it's seeds...any day it's in bloom and ready...we just had a quick cold spell. Two days of warm and they will be on there way...I'd say Wednesday or Thursday.
Hugs to you,
Jamie - Envy is all addressed and waiting lol!
cold spell? I'll take one of your cold spells over one of ours any day Mrs. Jamie..LOL!
LoL You don't consider upper 70's low 80's during the day and 60's at night a cold spell...lol... ahhhhhhhhh come on!!!! Break out the parkas!!!!! Sorry, it's only been 4 years since I moved from northern Utah back South but, I forget. Anyway...I think I'll go enjoy a sit on the dock in the sun...lol...
Hugs,
Jamie
LOL just keep rubbing it in..LOL soon though soon, youngest is 12 I told him when she graduates HS I was moving south he could either come with or stay I didn't care But I was going south, I hate the snow! LOL
Now becareful what you wish for!
My Texas, born and raise, husband swared snow is highly over rated after shoveling it for 7 years in Utah! - one of the blessing of having Asthma - No snow shoveling!
But, In July and August here you will sware you have entered the Gates of H---! It stays 100+++ and the humidity is about the same...We can't even garden. It's like your winters. We just have to try and limp everything through and plan for next season -we loose most plant to summer not winter. Oh did I mention ALL of the humidity is hanging in the air...we get NO rain during this time either...
So yes it's beautiful and a fantastic place to live with mostly year round gardening but, two months out of the year only the native want to be here and then that's questionable (I'm a transplant)...lol...
Hugs,
Jamie
Got my seeds today Trina. Thanks so much.
your welcome flower fantasy!
Mrs. Jamie You're a riot...3 years ago I lost everything, and I do mean everything to heat, the following year lost it all to flood...go figure
I hope you still get this...I am not waiting on the lemon basil any longer...I am sending the envy with what I have so fat plus some blue kale I just got. I will send the lemon basil in a couple of weeks. It's just sitting out there going - nunny nunny noony...
LoL...Mialing it in the morning!
Hugs,
Jamie
trina me too if you have any left
sure sissy...I temporarily closed this thread due to illness so that I can catch up with all the envies that came while I was sick (5 teens in public school I finally got the tummy flu they all had!) as soon as get caught bac up it will be reopened!
okay just let me know thank you sissy
Glad you're feeling better;o)
PLEASE, nobody take this wrong, but whoever keeps sending me seeds but NOT putting your return address on the package please identify yourself. I really appreciate them, I do but yesterday in the mail on top of trades and everyones envies I got 8 overly stuffed large bubblemailers packed with seeds and no idea where they came from, so I'm driving myself crazy thinking I missed a trade, or an envie, or something. and I especially love the two 1 gallon ziplocks that say "mystery flowers" just from looking there are at least 50 different types in there, but I'd like to be able to at least send you a thank you note!
to those who have sent envies, they are on thier way out first thing in the morning, it's been very hectic here and unfortunately a few trips to the ER an emergency surgery and 2 boys that now each have about 20 stitches in thier heads I am back on track and getting them all out...sorry for the wait
Hope all is well . Are you still filling envies that were sent in October? I sent a SABE with stamps enclosed and never received any seeds. Darla
I haven't received mine yet either Darla, but I know trina has been dealing with some family stuff so trying to be patient;o)
