Just want to make sure this big guy isn't poisonous. I have them everywhere in my garden.

CLOSED: Spider ID
Although this looks very much like a wolf spider (these are very common in most yards and gardens), its markings appear somewhat like those on some fishing spiders (family Pisauridae) in the genus Dolomedes. Large specimens of either family are capable of inflicting a painful bite if they are handled carelessly, but they are not dangerous. Just FYI, with the exception of one small family (Uloboridae), all spiders possess venom glands. However, only a very few species (such as the widow spiders) are truly dangerous to humans.
