Kaper - my loss of smell ability does impact the more subtle flavors, but I can still distinguish tastes in many things.

Jada - you are so right! But once I didn't smell the smoke from fire and it could have been a bad scene for me if others were not present and attentive. If I have to do without one sense though, I think this is the one I'd prefer.

No, I haven't yet Victor, needs to be windier, colder. Definitely still smells like October, (though it started smelling like October towards the middle of September this year, lol)

I think Grand Marnier is orange, not vanilla. Many, many years ago my friends father hit on me while imbibing in Grand Marnier. To this day I detest the smell of it.

My brother went to the dentist for the first time when he was sixteen - because he WANTED to! Can you imagine that? He wanted to??!! He had a toothache. I don't even think it was a cavity. I got all the cavities in the family!

My kids actually don't mind the dentist. But that's because I had such a bad history with dentists that I decided to make sure my kids didn't. Only one cavity between two kids in 18 years (well, maybe 16 or 17 years - I can't remember how old they were when they got teeth, lol!)

I love the smell when you're outside and you can smell someone doing the laundry. I guess by then the clothes are in the dryer.

Great smell...riding at night down in FL in February and the smell of orange blossoms and wood burning.
