CLOSED: i need to know if this spider is harmful

i have a spider i find and it is orange with black on its legs and i want to know if it is poison or can it hurt my kids i never seen one like this before.

What a cool spider. All spiders can bite if mishandled, but there are only three considered poisonous, the black widow, the brown widow and the brown recluse....your spider is not any of those.

This is an orb-weaving spider (family Araneidae), namely Araneus marmoreus. It usually is known as the marbled orb weaver, but orange specimens such as yours often are called "pumpkin spiders." Like most Araneus species, this one can be highly variable in appearance - see http://tinyurl.com/yf9jr4d for some examples. All orb weavers are harmless to humans.
