I find these mini-tarantulas in my house a lot. What kind is it?
CLOSED: ID this large dark brown hunting spider
This appears to be a female wolf spider (family Lycosidae; these spiders are active hunters that frequently come indoors in search of prey. Large specimens can deliver a painful bite if mishandled, but otherwise are harmless to humans.
