CLOSED: Help ID this red and brown spider
This appears to be a woodlouse spider, Dysdera crocata; family Dysderidae - see http://tinyurl.com/yhhz3jt for an image. There are some ground spiders (family Gnaphosidae) that can be quite similar in appearance - see http://tinyurl.com/yzd3y8s for an example - but these spiders have smaller chelicerae ('fangs'), and eight eyes; woodlouse spiders only have six closely spaced eyes. All are harmless to humans.
