That looks like more fun - I would jump up and down to terrify my son.
Great fall weekend!
Just the motion from walking across was enough, no jumping required!!
Lots of great things to see here near Poughkeepsie! You covered a lot of them! Try Sam Morses' house on Rt. 9 next time as well as Eleanor Roosevelt's Place (Val Kill) on Rt. 9g. I'm not far from any of these places. There is also Mills mansion, Norrie, etc.
Poughkeepsie was the state capital at one time way back when. Millbrook is the home of a few celebs like Mary Tyler Moore. Jimmy Cagney Lived in Standfordville.
Cool! We did go to Val Kill. (No pics inside allowed.) Been to Wilderstein too. We'll try Mills next ime. Love the CIA too. It's a great area, Tom!
I would jump up and down to terrify my son.
Hubby would do the same thing.
Thanks for sharing your weekend with us.
Great pics. I went to school up there in Annandale -on-the Hudson. Have to drive up and check out the new haps. Falll in New York is so beautiful its worth the trip. Thanks.
Thanks, ladies.
We have visited Montgomery Place in Annandale, Joyce. Beautiful spot.
no way would you get me to cross that bridge!!!
I'd love to cross that suspension bridge! Cool!
Karen
I wouldn't cross it either!
Me either!
Also note that the Hudson valley railroad bridge walkway is the longest in the world. I originally said just the U.S.
Cool!

I saw people walking over it from the train this weekend. Had a great weekend visiting my son and his girlfriend with my sister.
Wow! The longest in the world! That's some bridge!
