What species is this happy couple?
CLOSED: Mating Somethings
These are one of the yellow/sulfur butterflies in the family Pieridae. However, there are several species having this general pattern on their underwings (see http://tinyurl.com/ykd8crn for an example), and I would hesitate to pin a specific identification on these without seeing the upper wing surfaces as well as the entire underside of the forewing. However, if there is a specialist on this group monitoring this forum, they may be willing to take a stab at it.
I remember the upper wing surfaces being the same green color as the underwings. Unfortunately, I don't have any other pics to confirm this or the underside of the forewing. :(
