CLOSED: Another small spider to ID

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

I have never seen a spider like this one before. It is tiny - I thought it was a speck of dirt on the door. Seems to have the body shape of the house spider, but I have searched through Bug Guide with no luck. Can you help me?

This might be a small orb weaver known as the flower-backed spider, Araneus pegnia - see http://tinyurl.com/yjlzgaj for an image of a male. (I was away most of the weekend, and didn't see your first posting.)

Boy, I missed that one! Looked and looked and looked some more too.
It appears there is a big variable in this spider, so I believe you have correctly ID'd it. http://www.awesomespiders.com/album1_039.htm
Thanks again for your help!

Now I'll release it to the outdoors, where it belongs.
