Meet my soon to be here new baby

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

I think that he'll be able to tolerate the pink. He's one lucky dog to own you Diane.

And the clock's ticking - today's the day!!!

Hart, Phoebe is doing great, still overweight but she's still my little sweetheart and everyone who meets her agrees :) Problems with Lucy but they seem to be resolving. I'll have to post on the Pupdate thread, don't want to steal Bandit's thread!

I'm waiting too but I imagine Hart is busy puppy cuddling and hasn't had an opportunity to grab the camera :) Welcome to your new home Bandit!

Sorry, guys. He's here and he's adorable. I spent the night before last at the emergency room all night with Mom then had to get Bandit yesterday morning. Mom fell and hit her head but is fine other than some bad bruising and a knot on her head. Anyway, I spent a lot of the day yesterday alternating between playing with Bandit and napping with him on my lap after being up all night.

I took a bunch of photos and I'll post some as soon as I get a chance to download them. Wait until you see him - he's the cutest little booger. He's already following me around like a shadow, eats like a little wolf and only cried for a couple of minutes in his crate last night. He's curled up on the sofa right now with his little frog I got him.

Debbie, please let us know about Lucy. It's so good to hear Phoebe is doing okay.

Sorry to hear about your Moms accident!
But can't be any better way for you to be recouping today than what you describe esp the cuddling~~sounds wonderful! I'm so happy for you.

So sorry to hear about your mom Diane and I'm so glad that she didn't break anything! Sounds as if you and Bandit are in 7th heaven - and not even a night of puppy crying. Looks as if everything is off to a good start.

Sorry to hear about your mom's fall. Nice to get some comfort from puppy cuddles.

Lexington, VA(Zone 6a)

See? I knew Hart was spending time "cuddling" :) Sorry to hear about your Mom but glad to hear it's nothing serious! You sure have had a lot to deal with this year :( Don't want to rush you, but you know we'll all be waiting for pictures of your little "shadow" :)

I'll try to get those photos downloaded tonight. He's an amazing little puppy and I can't wait to show you all how cute he is.

Debbie, this year has been unbelievable. My brother had two procedures done on veins in his neck last week because of the mini strokes he's been having and now my sister, during her regular mammagram last week, found something suspicious on her lymph node. She's going in Wednesday for them to take a closer look and find out what it is.

Thank heavens Mom didn't do any damage to her brain. She whacked her head on the same side where she had the stroke so I was freaking out until the CAT scan came back okay.

Diane - gracious...I'm just catching up....I'm SOOO sorry to hear about mom's fall...sheesh...God bless her AND you!!! As for your sis' mammagram - well they come back with questions frequently, I'm told. When I had to go have mine redone - it was nothing. Will keep her in prayer as well though.
And you have your baby home!?!?? Awwwwww!!!!!

Chantell, new baby photos at home here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1052974/ He's about the cutest thing you've ever seen.

Deb went to the doctor today. He said her lymph nodes are enlarged. They're doing a CAT scan next week and, depending on what that shows, maybe a biopsy.

Mom's face is a little bruised and she has a scab on her cheekbone but is otherwise doing fine from the fall. Thank goodness she didn't do any serious damage. I've removed the fall mat next to her bed, which we think is what she tripped on, and moved her nightstand, which is what she hit with her face, and everything else that was near her bed.

The problem is she gets up in the middle of the night all the time and because of the vision impairment, she tends to trip or walk into things and fall. We have a rail on her bed but that barely slows her down and there's an alarm on her bed that goes off any time she gets up.
