What kind of spider is it???

Hey I found a spider in my car. Sorry that I dont have any picture of the spider but I can describe it. It looked like a black one and red lines around the black legs, the eyes were the most scary part, cause they looked like a nasty green. I was really scared and wanna know what kind of spider it is. Can you help me? I also didnt find pictures in the internet, Im sorry.

We have a tiny black and white Phiddipus living in our mailbox....they are the feistiest little critters...with faces only a mom could love....we call it Postie...yeah, I know.....grin

Dreamwish. Most all spiders can give you a painful bite if mishandled, but in the US, the "dangerous" spiders are the black widow, brown widow and brown recluse.
