I should be in bed but here I sit waiting for time to pass so I can build up more health in one of the Facebook games I am playing. Thought this would be a great time to start a new thread.
Woke up to a ghastly humid morning, since I had all the windows open around here, it was terrible inside, too. I took it until 11am, then started shutting windows and turned the a/c back on. The temps had steadily risen during the night onto daybreak..I think we ended up about 85 for a high...with about that much humidity..just awful out there.
I have been repotting plants, starting new ones, dividing aloe, potting up baby spider plants and trying to give them away on Freecycle. So many people want them but no one shows up to pick any up. I did give some away, but I sure have alot more that need homes....along with those schefflera of DD's that are still sitting out back....(with mine..sigh). I dont know what I will do with the largest one, it used to fit in the patio but the only place it will fit now is in the living room since it has a catherdral ceiling..and I really dont want it there. The cats love to dig in the dirt, makes a mess all over the place. I have tried putting foil over the dirt but Rocky finds that an ideal place to pee..(dumb cat)..so we have screen over the top of the pots which keeps them (mostly) out of the dirt..Maybe I will just top it and let it start over from the bottom.
Finally starting to get serious about packing for the Seattle trip. Got the luggage out, starting to make piles of things so I wont forget things..This trip I am limited by the size of the suitcase and not the trunk of the car..quite a difference. We will leave from DFW at 2pm...DH wants to leave here no later than 10:30 am. It will be a long day at the airport, I am afraid, but it will take at least an hour to get there...depending on traffic, and they want us to be there at leasst 2 hours prior to takeoff..
Here is Floozy, waiting for me to give her some kitty candy (treats)..She sure is a spoiled girl. thinks she should have them on demand..
Guess what....it just started to rain again, Guess that means that cold front is here.
