Do you like hot food? Dave's Gourmet "Total Insanity" gets added to all his sauces.. but he can't eat that stuff straight. I will be curious to see how hot the chiles make the cucs.

I asked my dad if he knew what my Uncle's recipe was for his chili petin sauce, but he didn't know. My dad did tell me that when my Uncle ate it, it made his bald head sweat! LOL

I order medium spicy at Thai restaurants, so I'm not a complete wimp.... :)

Hopefully the chiles won't be so spicy as to make what hair he has left, leave!

Smockette, was this the recipe you use for the sopaipilla cheesecake? I just got this in an email and I'm thinking of trying it. :)

Sopaipilla Cheesecake

2 cans crescent rolls
1 pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1½ cups sugar (divided)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter (softened)
Cinnamon Sugar

Line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with one can of crescent rolls. In a bowl
mix the cream cheese, vanilla & 1 cup sugar. Spread this mixture over
the crescent rolls. Layer this with the last can of crescent rolls. Mix
together the softened butter and the remaining sugar. Spread this on top
of the crescent rolls. Before putting in the over, sprinkle with
cinnamon sugar. Bake @ 350E for 30 minutes.

Close but no cigar!!!
Noticed immediately!! Should be 3 pkg of cream cheese. I thought for yrs that the topping was chocolate but it is a butterie cinnamon 'glaze' on top of the 2nd layer of cresent rolls.
