Are the persimmons the big fat type I see in the stores?

I have the Fuyu type that you can eat while they are crunchy. They are the ones with the flat bottoms. I never have good luck ripening the Hichiya kind (the ones with the pointy bottom) so I prefer these. Here is a photo of them behind some Japanese anemones.

Gus ,I just read in the farmers almanac that we are having Indian summer,Ive always wondered ,its warm weather following a hard frost ,cold spell,nov 11-20,which is almost right on !!! We have gotten a lot done around here,well clean up ,lots of leaves ,walnuts ,leaves,had 2 dead trees down,stump,lots of brush cutting, dragging,burning,raking woods edge20 ft in.LOOKS WONDERFUL,all the clean up started behind the shed,then worked down the hill,to the left
