I am hoping the blooms are not blown off by all this wind I am getting today..I have it behind my greenhouse to block off the wind..The other blooms have fallen off here lately..Wish it luck!! This is the brug I got from SeedSprout before she closed her door..
Forgot to add: this is a double or triple bloom that the first skirts are white and last skirt is yellow.

Wish it Luck! Lemon Merinque...
Wishing lots of luck. Fingers and toes crossed!!
What you have is beautiful, coming out there.
Hope it makes it, great Luck.
I am hoping to take pics of the only bloom it had..we had a bad rainstorm yesterday and I hope it is still attached to the momma plant...will see soon as the sunrises up...
That is a very good name for that Brug. It is beautiful,
How did it do? Did it make it?
Charleen
Nadine, did the bloom open? Would love to see a picture.
I lost alot of blooms & buds from the high winds and heavy rains that come our way after leaving TX.
cannagirl, you didn't lose the
plants, did you? Just the leaves?
Charleen
Hi Charleen,
No, just a few blooms & buds. This was a good year for my brugs.....lol, no hurricanes. I even have about 20 seed pods ;)
Oh my Goodness!!! That is wonderful, I have done any seeds, really just got into Brugs but love them all.
they are one of the most interesting plants i have ever seen.
Charleen
Well it is messed up but the bloom held on..but it is beaten up..I have few more that is fixing to open up...I will take a pic tomorrow after I come home from work...
Well it is fixing to bloom again for me and I am hoping most of these will open with full skirts!! It has gotten huge this past winter and been fed good food!!
don't forget pictures when it blooms.
I have a collection I have to palnt I got this week end.
I will. I remembered back what happened in October. I had more wind later on and it fell off. So far I have found 5 bloom buds..let pray all 5 make it ...
I hope so. Love brug blooming season, don't you??
Yup. I have over maybe 30 named varieties in the ground and got quite few more to go..LOL...so it is brug haven here..most of them are in full 8 hours of sun...
Nadine, that is my favourite Brug...so I wish you luck.
Charleen, don't forget to post pics of yours either...
Dianne
i will, I can't wait! I am not very patient. But I am learning. Dianne I have a ot to watch this year, if they all do great I will have tons of pictures.
I took alot of leaves off the brug so it can put more effort in the bloom growing dept. I even added some of my piggy poop tea..lol..will post a pic this evening some of the blooms and the plant itself. It has come along way from being a foot and half tall brug almost 2 years ago...
they think I'm bad with Donkey poo. I hadn't even thought of piggy poo.
You go girl!! The things we do for our brugs.
Beautiul, looks like she is doing great!!! Thanks for the great pictures.
Looking good, will keep watching...
I would think taking the leaves of would be counter productive. A plant needs it leaves to produce the sugars (food) it needs. Removing the leaves reduces the amount of food it produces thus reducing the amount of energy it can use toward producing buds.
I been doing this for awhile. It hasn't bother the plant at all.
Nadine I am with Veronica, instead of putting more into the blooms, it has less to push with because it loses the energy the leaves produce.
Beautiful. I love it.
I am tired of waiting, I think it needs more piggy poop.
LOL..just fed it some Saturday morning!!!
What happened with this never got to see end result?
Yea?
