CLOSED: Caterpillar ID please

This is the first time I have seen a caterpillar like this one. It has a green body and orange spiky appendages coming out of it. Both ends look the same.
Do you know what kind it is and is this a bad or beneficial caterpillar?

Spiny Oak Slug Caterpillar I think. Book shows 4 different phase. Do not touch it. It stings
