My sister had a yellow bush daisy I tried to collect the spent/dead flower heads. I rubbed them between my fingers and there did seem to be seeds...but nothing has germinated (baggie method) after several weeks. I usually have great luck just using the baggie method...but have also noticed that some seeds just don't germinate well that way; ie. delosperma stardust (ice plant). So...my question is if anyone has had any luck propagating Euryops from seed?
I'd like the bush daisy OR would like to know about Euryops pectinatus 'Viridis' (the small tree-like variety). Does anyone know if they produce viable seed. Not sure if I'm germinating poorly or the seed are just not viable.
Thanks!
Do Euryops produce viable seed?
