right here! And I don't just mean the best GARDENING site, but the best site in whole dang world. Why am I so exuberant? Well, because of encroaching senility (that's always my excuse, I know) I got some trades mixed up. So I had some plants that I wasn't sure what they were. After explaining my dilema in a couple of the forums, I was able to figure out what they were (dwarf cattails) and get them in the new pond.
Thanks for letting me be a nuisance, thanks for helping me figure out what these wonderful plants were, and thanks Dave and Trish, for having this inspired, friendly, informative, and just wonderful site!
By the way, is there someone out there that I have promised ajuga and has not received it yet.....?

lol Woody - from another old un - I agree with you. As far as I can see, this is the place for me. I have lurked at other sites by invitation I might add, and felt so uncomfortable!! No, there is no question, no contest!! Daves Garden is where you can find everything you ever wanted and more and I am so grateful :-)

Everybody is really nice here and helpful. When you're down, somebody always has an encouraging word to say and when you post something funny, somebody always agrees. I have been at other sites where I feel uncomfortable because people are so mean to each other. I feel like I fit in here at Dave's and I love it. I stop by three, sometimes four times a day!! And it doesn't matter if you are a seasoned gardener or a rookie (me) that killed or over fertilized (no blooms on my lilies but beautiful leaves!) almost every flower that was planted this year. I feel that I will do better next year becaue I have the most helpful people on the planet at my fingertips!!!!

I know what you guys mean! Before joining here in April, I surfed to many sites. Now, this site is almost the only one I consistently visit and participate in. There's just something for everyone! It's worth its weight in gold. Not sure how you'd weigh it - virtual weight, maybe. Hey, wish I could be weighed in virtual weight! LOL!
