Another great plant sale

Quail Botanical Garden in Encinitas is having their annual plant sale in a couple of weeks. It's the weekend of the 13th and 14th. Here's a link to their website for all the information on it and lots of other things they have going, like an orchid exhibition or something like that. Anyway it's all on their website. I can't wait for the plant sale. I went last year and it was pretty cool.

Hmmm...I really think they should make admission free on the day of the sale. Kind of defeats the point of trying to get a bargain. :-} $12 per person is a bit high, but then I am half Scots-Irish!

Yep...I only go on free first Tuesday......

I'm a member so I tend to forget about that admission price. It used to be $8.00. Is it really 12 now??

edited to add that as I've gotten older, I've found that it really annoys me to pay for things that were once free and it really annoys me to have stop signs and then signals at places where there never used to be any..some of us get cranky as we get older.......

Thanks for the link DP. You know I'm an orchid hound, and since I lost my bfly orchid, and that's where I got it a few years ago, I'm hoping to replace it, it'll give me something to do while the guys are working. They really are charging $12 to go in? I don't recall we paid to go in for the Orchid show the last time. I forget and DH would have handled the money. I am with you though wcgypsy. We never charge people to come on our farm. Not even when we were hosting the Pow Wow's and really needed the $$ to make expenses.
We did charge for parking. A whole $3.

Found a coupon for a whole $2 off for the orchid show. Still trying to talk DH into buying the membership. Two visits and it will pay for itself. Looked it up online yesterday. That link was really helpful, DP!
