How long do you need?
Canadian seed exchange
How bout a Sunday night deadline echoes? I'm willing to live with the 'snooze you lose' law as I don't want anyone to keep collecting seed if they're done. YOOOU HOOO! will that work for the rest of you participants who still haven't posted your lists? YOOOU HOOO!
Never mind a consensus. Of course you can have til Sunday night. I'm sure no one will mind. Better than having anyone drop out.
Oh, yay! Sunday would be waay better for me too. I've been working late - no time to get to my list. But I 'll start right now.
Cheers....
Jo Northh
You GO GIRL Jo North. Echoes hoping that some of the others that expressed an interest will chime in ^_^
Hi just noticed this.. I am in BC,just come back to Canada after several years in the UK, I do have a large seed stash that came back with me but most veggies not flowers.Mostly heirlooms, and many are from International swaps, Spain, Germany, France and Australia,Poland and Russia.Tomatoes, squash and beans are my favourites but I do have most things. Would that be of any interest.
XX Jeannine

Nice lists Joanne and Les. Come on you laggers. Lets get going.
Looking back over the thread, it looks like most of the first participants that posted an interest before the deadlline have put up their lists. (Except for the ones that dropped out)
ALBERTAROSEY where are you?
I hope that ARosey, digging_dirt, JeannineAnne, and Shannon can get back to us real soon. Jeanine said she needed til tonight?

Jo North
Well aren't you just the little oinky oink Jo North ;) I have SO not finished my want list. I am a chronic delinquent sigh.
You don't have to put your wish list up here. You can just dmail it to me if you want.
Les, you aren't late. I meant tonight was the last night for listing your offer list. You can have a few days to work on your wants lists. That work for everyone?
Heh heh, I was thinking that I might look a little greedy. Snort snort. Or what ever noise piggies make. LOL. I really only want a few seeds of each ya know. I just can't help myself.
Good thing I'm already saving milk jugs for Missie 'I'm cutting back next year REALLY' ^_^
You girls go for it.
Well, Miss DN is one to talk - last time I was at her house you couldn't see the kitchen counter tops or dining room table for the seeds. Hmmmph.
I stand by my recent peas with marigold seeds creation! drat. busted
Ahem ladies, you cannot fight the seed addiction any better than lilies, irises, daylilies, dahlias and such. It is futile, I have tried.
Just in case you didn't get yours yet, hmmm the T&M catalogue has arrived and there are some very lovely delights in it.
I am not allowing myself to lift the cover of T&M catalogue until I have listed all the seeds I already have for 2010. This is how I fake myself into thinking that I am 'planning' my purchases.
Yes, and I am not ordering any mail order seeds this year. They have nothing that special anyway and I can find lots on the racks. Shopping in person is more fun anyway. It really doesn't make any difference to the look of a big garden anyway. This cosmo, that cosmo, this dianthus, that dianthus....ouch, bit my tongue to hard
snort
Double snort.
"Yes, and I am not ordering any mail order seeds this year". That's the lie I tell myself every year too. ;p
ok im in will post a list tomorrow since I have to finish my seeds in the morning if I am still able to come aboard
mona
Sorry Mona, we finished on the 28th. I've done the spread sheet and ready to send. I need get this done. I'll give you a call on the next one, if there is one.
no problem
thanks
Sorry, I'm still busy raking leaves down here ... bags and bags and bags and bags of them. Norway maples should be banned! The balcony garden is still half-blooming (must be that radiant heat from the brick wall of the building) so I'm not putting it to bed just yet.
I know I didn't make the deadline, but if anyone would like Morning Glory 'Star of Yelta' seeds, please let me know. The flower is a nice purple and comes pretty much true-to-type year after year, self-seeding readily. Fortunately they, like the other seeds on the list, will keep all winter! :-)
Shannon
Very nice of you to offer, Shannon. I like Star of Yelta, it's a pretty one, and it bloomed before summer was over, which they don't all do for me.
That's good to know - thanks! I'm from the prairies originally but haven't lived there for many years & was just getting started in gardening when I moved away... so I'm always curious how many of my favourites here would make it there. I will tell my stepfather that the Star of Yelta is promising - he lives in southern MB also, and I sent him some seeds earlier this fall.
Thank you everyone for all the seeds! And thanks too to Echoes for organizing. Somehow I ended up with more seeds than I started with though. That wasn't supposed to happen. LOL.
Joanne
