These larvae were found in my friends pool, I fished them out and took pics. They are at least 1 1/2" long in this pic. The color differences I think is because of different stages of decomp. She says she never sees them during the day but finds them in her pool in the am. She has no trees directly above the pool eliminating the thought they may have fallen from a tree.
Anyone got an idea?

CLOSED: ID #2 on Larvae
These are larvae of beetles in the family Scarabaeidae (June bugs, May beetles, dung beetles, etc) that accidentally fell in the pool while crawling on the ground at night.
In Texas we call them Scarab beetles, usually an iridescent green...it make sense that this is what these are. Thanks for the infor.
