This has all of the characteristics of an Assassin Bug, but is it a good one or a bad one? What's his name? I have more pictures if you need them.

Can you edit the picture to make the bug larger???
I believe that this is Myodocha serripes (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Rhyparochromidae), a very odd member of the superfamily Lygaeoidea known as the long-necked seed bug - see http://tinyurl.com/kjjr64 for images. I do not think that there are any images of this species in the bugfiles. Although reportedly common in some areas, it does not appear to be a serious pest.
