Thanks Duc. We used to have a little girl statue that matched but the wind blew it off the deck and broke it.

The sun is out again today. We went from Tuesday to Sunday with rain and it's so nice to be able to take sharp pictures again.

They are all beautiful shots Dave, can't say enough about your photography! That last shot should be hanging on your wall...the little darlings all look like they were posing for you!!

Great shots, as always, Dave. But I agree wholeheartedly with Rose, that last one just jumps out at you as a superb photo. If I was in the buying mode that is one that would be hanging on the wall, somewhere.

And congratulations on your runner-up position in the Birds category. I just knew that photo would be a front-runner.

I'll agree with the others, that third one deserves a frame! They're both beautiful photos. Love the coloring in the background to show off the pretty birds.

Yes, the autumn leaves make a nice background but you won't see it much longer. The trees are dropping leaves like mad. But we can enjoy it while it lasts. Here is one taken just a few minutes ago.

They are so beautiful!

Not much going on picture-wise today, due to the rain. I took pictures (from force of habit, I suppose), but didn't even bother to look at them on the computer. Here are a couple from yesterday.

Taken early in the morning, before the light was ideal.

You can tell it was a bit nippy by the way they fluff up their feathers.

Now that the leaves are gone I can see them when they perch in the pear tree.
