Teehee re: the GS's Rider gear ^_^ Sorry lilypon but you have probably been blown all the way to echos place by now. I raced around last night potting up and hauling in some container plants that I overwinter inside and WOWSER was it windy. Are you there lilypon? Yooo hooo? echoes could you check to see if Lilypon blew into your place over night? Hopefully this will blow itself out before it gets too far east.

I hope she's here soon, because I could use a lot of help. I am panicking over all the stuff I need to do and wow it is already cold on the old fingers and toes out there already.

Gotta figure out how to get back home and empty my greenhouse (if the panels haven't blown out already). :S Those tropical fowering plants of mine won't be impressed (or my tropical spinach). :S :'(

Well it's a balmy (windy) 48°F here and not raining right now, so I will go out and wait for you. Got my VK lilies to plant yesterday, so if I can figure out where to put them....brain fog is so bad today.

What a koinkidink echoes! My VK lilys arrived yesterday too ^_^ Of course I'm going to be planting them in my parka this weekend (snort)

Me too! I just got my Valley K lilies and I'm looking at freezing MBO to plant them this weekend.
I 'Email talked' to Lynette yesterday and she has been going crazy getting all the orders out so we can get them in the ground. I'm very excited about a couple of the short ones I got as I like them as a border flower.
Ginny sent me the cutest short orange one that was really tight to the ground
and boy was it ever cute this year.
Here we go into the freezing zone for cleaning up and planting eh!

I'm starting to get worried here.......mine still haven't arrived (but have the tracking number saying they were mailed).

Hopefully I'll get a notice tomorrow that they are here and ready for pickup! Ann I know I'll be joining the rest of you low zone folks freezing my butt off!!!

So by any chance do lily bulbs do well sitting in a fridge?

I have hear that you can as long as the fridge is a 'normal' one not auto defrost.
There are instructions in the box with regard to keeping them in cold storage overwinter.

The BESTEST therapy you two can get is to move to Saskatchewan then your greenness won't be noticed (however you are definitely the right colour for Sunday's GAME). :D
