Toad Lily Seeds?

(Zone 5b)

I bought my first toad lily today. I think this is the beginning of a new obsession. Good thing the season's almost over!

Anyway, it's full of buds and I'd like to collect seeds if anyone can tell me what to look for and how/when to plant them? Also can I keep them until spring? I'm in Northern Illinois (zone 5)

Thanks for your help.

I've got an alba that is the first toad lily I've had set seeds. It's a pod, an inch or so long where the bloom was. It is a three sided kind of long pod. I've got several other varieties that have never set seed. If you will remind me in the spring, I'll start you some cuttings. They are very easy from cuttings if they are done at the right time.

Cala, I put mine in a hanging basket (don't ask:) Will it make it here like that or should i move it to in ground?

I left some outside in gallon pots (400 size) and most of them froze. Can you bring it into the garage after it goes dormant? (You are warmer than us, so it may be okay outside.)
I've got seeds on another tricyrtis--"Trojen". I will send you some when they are ripe if you want to try them.
