White flowering variegated Althea

This is a variegated white single flowering Althea. I noticed it among the many little seedlings that had sprouted on the ground.

Pretty~! I think you should take some cuttings and root them so you have more. I don't remember ever seeing variegated Althea before.

Hi Shoe,
Thanks! I like it, too. There is at least one that I know of called "Sugar Tips". I saw it at a garden store this summer. The variegation isn't as pronounced as the one I posted and the flowers are double and light pink. I think I have seen one on a website that has variegated leaves with double burgundy flowers. The flowers on that one don't seem to open all the way, or at least I've never seen a photo where they are open. I will try cuttings. A few years ago, I had a white double that was about 6 feet tall but I took it out. DH thought the blooms on the white double kind of looked like crumpled toilet paper moving in the breeze. LOL.
