Night Blooming Jasmine under attack

I have 2 NBJ's being decimated by something.All I can see are big black droppings on tops of leaves and powedery patches under.It only started 2 days ago and already the plants look aweful.In addition alot of leaves have started to yellow and drop.Tho this may be unrelated.At any rate I need some help.The plants up until this point had grown at an astonishing rate and both have just finished blooming.I cut them back after bloom as instructed about a week ago.Please help these are 2 of my favorites:).Just for added info a local shop seemed to think it was weavils?

Sure doesn't sound like weevil damage. Can you provide photos?

I have just found some baby Hornworms on mine but they can eat all they want as they will become Sphinx Moths. It won't kill you plant
