I found these unusual bugs mating among my sweet alyssum today. They appear to be one of many insects I've observed lately taking favor to reproducing on my sweet alyssum. I see you have marked this as 'Solved,' but see no comments. Did you find that these were an introduced species known as the Bagrada Bug (Bagrada hilaris; Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)?
