Cat predator in the backyard

hmmm.. never heard of Iodine for when your sick.. my grandpa.. WWII time.. told my mom to always use vicks on our back, chest, & bottoms of our feet to break a fever. I never believed it till a kid i was babysiting kept running a very high fever so i figured it wasn't gonna hurt anything. within 30 mins the fever broke. I agree we need to use some of the older remedies instead of all this new fangled crud.. but then this is coming from someone who has grown up highly allergic to all this "new good medicine".

The iodine we had when i was a kid.. dad put on everything.. along with mythericom (spelled wrong.. but i can't find the spelling for it so sound it out.) but it hurt so badly i'm not sure I could catch one of my chickens after putting that on a cut on it. Please if you use that let me know how that works. Grandpa use to put honey & brown paper on the hunting dogs when they got cut up real bad.. would raw honey work for a chicken? if you covered it so they couldn't get too it?

One of my favorite subjects honey. That might be a good solution too.

I use honey on all my burns, and it draws the pain and heat right out. Sunburns too. It's really great. Your grandpa knew what he was doing.

I'm also quite allegic to pharmaceutical drugs and chemicals used in soaps and cleaning products, and well, many other things. I have to be so careful. One doctor said living in an old house is so much safer than living in a new one, simply because of the chemicals used in the new materials.

Have a great day GreyKyttyn.
