Hi tiredwabbit I noticed your address is Point Pleasnt N.J. is that near Manasquan. My DH and I took our boat down the Erie Barge Canal and down the Hudson River to the Atlantic, we got weathered in at an inlet called Manasquan and stayed at a marina called Chrystal Point Marina. Would that be anywhere near you?

Yes it is very near me:) An inlet seperates us. If you look across it you see Manasquan, and if you are on their side you see us. It isn't vey far at all, maybe a couple of blocks, a bridge, and a waterway, is all. I don't kniw the Marina, but I am assuming it is very close indeed.
So did you enjoy your visit down here? That's a pretty far distance to travel by boat. Sorry you got weathered in. No to bad a town though, I don't think. Even though it is my next door neighbor, I have no reason to go there. Though we go to the inlet very often, for fishing, watching boat races. And the like.

Hi Holly we where on route to Florida that's why we were so far. We left late most, of the other boats where way ahead of us. We stopped there first of all, because we had all four motor mounts on out starboard engine break, they were fixed in one day but gale force winds kept us from going back out, for five days. We didn't get to see to much of the place, because we were without wheels, but some of the other boaters that lived there took us to the grocery store and what not. Do you deep sea fish? There was lots of deep sea fishing boats at this marina. the one man who helped us out goes to Deleware Bay to Cape Hatteras. We walked across the bridge I think you're talking about and had supper at Harpon Willies, have you ever eaten there?
