Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Bill has yet to have a problem-free thread start! Hee hee. Nice pics.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

We may need to rename the website, 'Dave's Garen.'

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

the stone wall threads were done correctly!!

my left middle finger must have been busy when i was typing after reading about those old yankee players and thier partying on another thread :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee. Guess you can't expect everyone to be squeaky clean like Manny and Big Floppy. ^_^

Allison, I've had glads overwinter, but usually they die. If you really want to not spend money on more next year, then dig, don't take the chance.

Nice butterfly pics, Jen and Bill!

Bill, nice shot of the Cleome with the BES in the bg!

Bill strikes again!

Bill, thanks for the clem pic, now I know what it will look like when it grows up. Yipee!

Thomaston, CT

Nice coleus, Debi---drooling over the cyclamen, Jen---and, yes, I have a dahlia bud that's just like yours---frustrating.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I bought cyclemen bulbs from Seneca Hill and dont see one single sprout or tip of leaf.
If these fail to grow I'll be out of the cyclemen lust stage.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

thanks Karen... I was going to be lazy and leave them there... and then I changed my mind

love the Cyclamen Jen...nice coleus Deb!!

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Thanks for the new thread.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

cant believe its up to over 20.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I can't believe there've been only 4 posts since the 8th! Everyone must be really busy. I was too busy to check in yesterday.

This is a "Garen" photo of a shb that I ejoy in the late sumer. Wha, does my spelling make you make you feel better?

This is Lespedeza 'Gibraltar' . I cut it back to the ground in the fall. We have had it for 5 or 6 years and it always is late summer treat.

Flowerjen, Love seeing the cyclamen. Patti

This was a new plant for me last year Caryopteris 'First Choice' that is suppose to flower a little earlier and stay smaller then the others that I have, but I don't see much difference. It seems to be a brighter blue. I prune them anyway. Patti

All the Hardy Hibiscus are all out now. They are all rather obscene. I only took a photo of 'Old Yella' that opens white. Patti

Sedum Autumn Joy is out everywhere, but I still love it. Here it is with Phlox Bright Eyes, and Aster Wonder of Staffa. I need more asters. Patti

Here is Hydrangea Limelight with our dog Winnie. It is kind of leggy, the shrub, not the dog, but I think I can prune it as soon as it finishes blooming and make it look way better next year. Always next year! Patti

ok that's it!!! Tomorrow i start a new thread with proper spelling - i know how to spell garden! - it's my fingers that will not cooperate and possibly a lack of proof reading:) Can't stand to see the typo myself :)

Oh and nice pictures patti - AJ is doing well here too with tons of bees - noticed the bumblers and honey bees get along well there, then i saw a wasp poking them off a flower head like a blue jay would, nature in action

btw nice to see you post!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
