Awesome pictures Pelle. It looks like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing.
Birding by Boat in Cape May- July & August
Yes we were! And at the State Park about 3 or 4
Thank you Jane!
The restaurant called the Lobster House where Maggie ate has been there for many years. As you come off the Garden State Parkway and begin to go over the bridge into Cape May you can see a very tall sign for the Lobster House. Here is the back of the restaurant from the bay. It's much bigger than it looks from here.
Yep, Forster's for that tern in flight

Wow, Pelle, what a nice place to visit. I like the idea of renting the place -- for a group of us birder friends. And the Restaurant, especially lobsters house seals the deal. lol. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Than you Lily! There are many great seafood restaurants down there in all price ranges. Yes Rose the shopping is so fun!
That's a great virtual trip for us! I love those little terns in the grass, but they are all nice!
Thanks Mrs Ed! The Terns are always a favorite of mine too!
Pelle, what a lovely thread. I love your trips to Cape May. I love the Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs and the Dowitcher and of course the Ospreys. Now, when you hire the house for the fortnight, could you arrange for my room to have a balcony, if you wouldn't mind.
LOL, I'll do my best Margaret. Thank you!
I like tea in the morning, not coffee. You'll want to put me at the end of the hall because I've been told I snore.
:-)
Allocate her to the basement Pelle. Only place for one who snores.
LOL, I can just picture you guys up there.
Very interesting trip to Cape May Pelle,. I would love to take a boat out, to see shore birds, someday.
Oh you'll be there too Burn! We need someone who speaks Redpoll and Evening Grosbeak.
Margaret, maybe I should just be in a hammock on the front porch.
Thank you for the ride, Pelle. Looks like you had some great visits and nice photos. I especially like the American Oystercatchers and the Dowitchers, two birds missing from my list.
Well, while you all are visiting Cape May, I think I'll hang out across the Delaware Bay if you don't mind. The migration process will surely be hastened by this group (lol).
Umm, back porch I think, Mrs Ed.
Wise man, Linth.
LOL, Thanks Linth!
Margaret your too much!
Back Porch? Are you ashamed of me in my butterfly PJs?
Charlie, I don't blame you for staying way away from us. I'm sure that there would be some 911 moments, especially since I'd be there near water.
ROTFLOL!!
I've got to make time for Cape May. Hey Linth when are we going? I won't be taking the 'ole lady though (smiles)
Nice show Pelletory

Met, I'm sure she would love all the Victorian Bed & Breakfast's and the shopping. :-)
Hm, you better take the "Ol' Lady" or else she might wonder what you are doing at a big house full of us gals.
"MMMM HMMMM, BIRD watching."
You can just leave her with us and we'll talk about you behind your back. cackle cackle.
