Orange Tendersweet watermelon.
Package says 85 days and Sept-May plant dates for our zone.
Should I trust Burpee?
These babies are ready to go into the ground.
Is it too late to plant out watermelons and bell peppers?
Quyen,
I say plant them out -- what's the worst that could happen? My late MIL had a cherry tomato that produced all winter one year. It was planted in a small walled courtyard, so for the peppers you might look for a sheltered but sunny spot.
OTOH, since you have a number of the pepper plants, you could transplant a couple to individual pots and keep them inside, if you have a sunny windowsill. Just to cover all bases, I know you want those peppers to cook with!
~'spin!~
I think you can, but be prepared to cover them if you get a freeze warning. We still have almost two months before it really gets cold or wet, and it may not even get to freezing, although I remember a few times that it did. I do know that strawberries do quite well in your area.
What you got to loose?
Plant them seedlings! Mulch those seedlings! Let us know!
